This is my very first game in 386 century, at that time ... this kinda game is realistic, gorgeous yet challenging.
Listening to the footsteps, suddenly ... my member screamed "mayday, team mate down!". It's how it should sounds like while in the game, every beat of the game is so real.
After you loses one, or two, perhaps all your man ... they'll be listed as either MIA (Missing In Action) or KIA (Killed In Action) in the status and they can't be used again.
Or when the mission is failure, you'll call up the copper to pick you up.
After all these years, it is still so real (the game play and mission simulation) to me. Sometimes, I was thinking: "why can't anyone create something like this these days?". You have all the titles like "BattleField", "Brothers In Arms", "Delta Force" and even "Counter Strike 2" now a days, but I can tell you none of these can come close to as attractive as "Special Forces".
At least I don't play them until the mid-night came, and I was still figuring out how to achive the next mission.
Bravo, a very successful creation of MicroProse. It certainly desearve a placement in the "Hall of Fame"!
