Special Forces by MicroProse

Special Forces by MicroProse (Sleepless Knights)

This is my very first game in 386 century, at that time ... this kinda game is realistic, gorgeous yet challenging.

Listening to the footsteps, suddenly ... my member screamed "mayday, team mate down!". It's how it should sounds like while in the game, every beat of the game is so real.

After you loses one, or two, perhaps all your man ... they'll be listed as either MIA (Missing In Action) or KIA (Killed In Action) in the status and they can't be used again.

Or when the mission is failure, you'll call up the copper to pick you up.

After all these years, it is still so real (the game play and mission simulation) to me. Sometimes, I was thinking: "why can't anyone create something like this these days?". You have all the titles like "BattleField", "Brothers In Arms", "Delta Force" and even "Counter Strike 2" now a days, but I can tell you none of these can come close to as attractive as "Special Forces".

At least I don't play them until the mid-night came, and I was still figuring out how to achive the next mission.

Bravo, a very successful creation of MicroProse. It certainly desearve a placement in the "Hall of Fame"!

Live among GODs

Soon ... to be Living among GODs

Side-scrolling arcade game was popular in the 486's century!

During that time, GODs was my personal favourite. It comes with some superb artwork which ones cannot resist, and the game was addictive enough to pull you back even in the mid-night!

I have made captured all 4 maps for the game levels, to aid in puzzle solving and walkthrough.

Brittania ...

Remember when I was in standard 6, I had my 1st 486 DX66-2. And first thing I had in mind is to grab a super cool game and try out.

I saw a review of "Ultima series" in a PC Game magazine, it was awesome at that time (besides Nintendo's Dragon Quest & Final Fantasy series).

I waited long enough until it gets here in Malaysia, then I try it out ... the 1st episode I've play is Ultima 6 I think ... then following by picking up the rest.

Every game had given me an unique experience, althought some claim that Ultima 8 sucks, I don't think so. Even I can say it was the predecer of Diablo, but come with more story game play.

After years of waiting, we have another Ultima episode - Ultima 9 (perhaps the last) ... I'm so sad that Richard Garriott had to leave EA Origin after all these years for accompanying me. And I was so regret that Ultima 9 is the only game that I never finished (so long game play you know :P), and I had lost my saved files as well.

Well below was some recap. of the sweet memories, enjoy!
